Standard requirements for analytical LCMS data usually include the confirmatory Molecular ion, with a high quality chromatogram showing the UV purity (and/or ELS purity) to be of acceptable limits. The LCMS method employed must therefore allow a complete representation of the sample and provide a molecular ion.
